Here are a few examples of both military and pilot UFO sightings from the early 1950s. On December 7th, 1953, according to Army Intelligence records, Private First Class Alfred De Bonise and Sergeant First Class James Conley sighted an unidentified object directly above the Headquarters Battery, 89th AAA Battalion, at Fort George C. Meade, Maryland, where the National Security Agency (established in 1952) was later sited.
