A source familiar with the matter told the Wall Street Journal that NHTSA has ordered Doctor Cummings to recuse herself from any matters relating to Tesla. The private order was later confirmed by a US Department of Transportation spokesperson. The update was first spotted just after 1:00pm PST by a Tesla owner in the Netherlands.
