why does my pool heater smell like gas?
Posted On: May 7, 2023
Pool heaters offer warm, comfortable swimming and relaxation throughout the year. Almost every pool heating system runs off of a gas line, other than those that take advantage of the sun’s heat. If you have a pool heater on your equipment pad, it’s time to find out why it smells like gas.
Your pool heater smells like gas because it’s leaking from one of the galvanized unions or couplings. A crack or leak will slowly spread gas throughout the area, which can be quite dangerous. Turn off the heater, close the nearest gas line, and call a re . . . [

why does my pool heater keep shutting off?
Posted On: May 6, 2023
If your pool heater turns on but shuts off soon after, a dirty filter might be the problem. It could also be a safety switch, thermostat setting, or corroded electrical terminal. You can try a variety of solutions to remedy the issue.
Clean the Filter
Your pool heater needs enough water pressure to run properly, usually at least 40 GPM. If your heater isn’t getting a steady stream of water, it could be due to a clogged filter or dirty pump basket. Clean your filter, skimmer, and pump baskets. Turn off your heater and pump before cleaning. Rem . . . [

how screwed is my air conditioner
Posted On: May 4, 2023
Question from user Cariot at hvacadvice at reddit.
Answer:
Thats your condenser coil.
From what I see, not enough damage to make a huge difference in cooling efficiency, but you can look up coil combs and repair it, I have a set of about 6 with 12 different sizes for various models.
In the future, light spray with the hose, never a hard clean like a pressure washer.
Answer from user SonicOrbStudios at hvacadvice at reddit.

Will AI Replace Us All? (How I Tried to Get ChatGPT to Do My Job)
Posted On: May 2, 2023
Thanks to ChatGPT, artificial intelligence has been allover the news as of late. Many people are fascinated by the chatbot’s ability to communicate, relay information, and even write poetry. At the same time, it raises the old question whether AI will replace us all in the near future.
Seriously, look at Google. Pretty much all its autosuggestions are of the “will AI replace X” nature.
After being talked about as the next big thing for years, it seems like artificial intelligence has finally arrived in the mainstream — and very . . . [
