Broken GE Cooktop Help

So about 2 months ago, I had an unfortunate accident that broke my glass cooktop on my GE Profile gas cooktop.It's in an island and really not repairable as there are lots of spider cracks and an inch hole.I had a large retailer out to assess and measure for a new one.I was told that basically I had one option for a gas cooktop without modification and induction/electric aren't even an option as it's not the proper voltage.I cannot get new glass as it's not a style made anymore.So I finally landed on one.The installers (contractors of the big r . . . Washer Problem

Recently my washer has been having this issue where it will wash, but when it gets to the Rinse cycle, it sputters out and makes this noise that sounds like it's trying to spin but can't.It wasn't too much of a problem until the washer stopped going altogether.Now it won't go at all.I think it might be the Shift Actuator (I think that's what it's called), but I'm also worried it might be the motor.If it's relevant, almost a year ago I changed the pump intake where the hoses attach and it's been working fine since.Any help would be appreciated.Q . . .
